Part 2:The Farmhouse

Villains

• A squad of Thranish soldiers lead by an overly suspicious Paladin of the Silver Flame

who then turned into allies against...

• The vampire who had fled from the Cloud's Destiny, and caused much trouble and death the night before.

Moments of DOOM

• The party stands accused of murder moments after they discover a farmhouse full of dead bodies.
• None so subtle descriptions of the sun sinking lower on the horizon
• Qasq, sneaking upstairs to try and snipe the Paladin accusing them, runs into a waking vampire instead
• Vincent lets it slip to a Knight of the Silver Flame that Codee is posessed
• A hail of arrows from the squad of Thranish knights - not to mention most of the party's blows against the vampire - heal closed almost instantly.

Notable Heroics

• Qasq hiding invisibly behind the vampire to buy himself time to infuse bane on his crossbow
• Brannek pulling Codee inside and out of the way, and trying to remind Vincent of the severity of the situation ("Do you *know* what they'll do to her? They'll burn her alive if they get the chance.")

Funny Bits

• Vincent fails his roll to keep from vomiting at the sight of the grisly murders.
• Schwabus and his Carver do absolutely nothing when the patrol rides up, and just sit off to the side being inconspicuous... on a dinosaur...
• The Paladin detecting Codee as evil - very evil - as she tries to convince the patrol of their innocence to the murders in the farmhouse. Followed promptly by the Paladin trying to Smite Evil as he shook Codee's hand. funny how that didn't work...
